WGF Gains Canadian Presence
June 9, 2025
WatchGameFilm has enjoyed serving Canadian youth, high school, club and college sport teams since we started our company in 2008. We have great news as we are expanding our physical presence in Canada!
Please welcome to the WatchGameFilm team, Sherilyn Fiveash, a native of Toronto, Ontario as she has joined WatchGameFilm to help bring our new and improved platform home to Canada.
Sherilyn was born into an athletic family. Her father Bobby was the first Florida State player to be named Florida Player of the Year and was drafted by the Toronto Argos. He would go on to play and coach the London Lords of the Ontario Rugby Union League. In 2011 the Lords were inducted into the London Sports Hall of Fame having won the 1960 ORUL championship. Coaching was in his veins and he coached numerous successful youth and high school teams including leading West Hill Collegiate to the 1992 Metro Bowl.
Her brother Fred began his football career playing for the Nepean Ram League in Ottawa, Ontario. Once the Fiveash family moved to Toronto her father would start the 7 Oaks Stampeders which would soon become the Scarborough Dolphins. Those teams would go on to win league and city championships. As a high school standout quarterback, Fred and his teammates would participate and win Scarborough championships with Bobby on the sidelines coaching. Fred's college career would take him first to Murray State (Kentucky) before returning to Canada to play for the Western Mustangs.
As an athlete herself, Sherilyn was a multi-sport athlete at West Hill Collegiate in Scarborough, Ontario. She excelled in tennis and won two Scarborough doubles championships and would go on to play collegiately at Eastern Kentucky University.
After graduation, Sherilyn would transition into sports information where she worked with numerous nationally ranked teams including the Western Kentucky women’s basketball team that participated in back-to-back NCAA Division I Final Fours. Her career would take her to Ole Miss, the University of Memphis, and the University of Iowa.
Through her work as a SID, Sherilyn would eventually start Hi Five Digital Productions in Atlanta, Ga., filming high school and college athletics. Over the years she has been fortunate to work as a contractor at such events as the NHL Stanley Cup, CFL Grey Cup, NCAA Final Four, NFL Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, and NFL Draft. In 2015, Sherilyn worked the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada in Moncton, NB.
"As a user of Watchgamefilm.com for over 20 years, the new and improved platform does everything a team would need from preseason to postseason. The affordability of WatchGameFilm for a team, an athletic department, or a sports organization, cannot be beat. I look forward to working with athletic programs here in Canada and helping them create smarter athletes and stronger teams."
