Account Deletion

Users are able to automatically remove themselves from a WatchGameFilm team. To be permanently removed from our platform, please contact help@watchgamefilm.com.

What User Data is Stored?

Our platform stores your first and last name as well as email address and WatchGameFilm password. In addition to your user profile, we record your team activity within any WatchGameFilm team you are logged into. This user activity (such as when you logged in, what film you viewed, etc.) stays as part of the team for 1 year. After 1 year, these activities records are purged from the team.

How Can I Leave a Team?

Simply log into your WatchGameFilm team, go to Settings > Profile. You can them select Leave Team and your profile will be removed from the current team. Note that once you have removed yourself from a team, you will no longer be able to log into that team again. You will need a Coach or Administrator to add you again if you want to join.

If you are listed as the Team Owner, you cannot automatically leave a team. Please contact help@watchgamefilm.com so that we can transfer ownership to another user. Once this is done, you are able to automatically leave the team.

Once you leave a team, your profile (Name, Email, Password) still remains on our platform but not within a specific team. If another staff adds you to their team, your existing user profile is used.

How Can I Delete My Profile?

To be permanently removed from the WatchGameFilm platform, please contact help@watchgamefilm.com and request permanent data removal.

Note that once we remove you from our system, if someone adds you to a WatchGameFilm team in the future, your email address will be added back into our system. However, your password will be new (automatically generated) and your First and Last Name will initially be defined by the person adding you to the team.
