A WatchGameFilm team is a private team that requires team members to log into WatchGameFilm in order to view film, playbooks, etc. WatchGameFilm teams are comprised of users who are assigned team roles when added to the team.

Each user on your team must be assigned one of the following roles:

The purpose of setting these roles is to distinguish the various people on your team so you can then customize who has access to what features and capabilities on WatchGameFilm. This means you can allow or restrict specific features and capabilities based on a person's role.

Add User

Every WatchGameFilm team includes unlimited users thus we recommend adding every person as their own account. This provides better security as well as accurately tracks who is watching film and who is not.

To add an individual user, click Add User on the toolbar. Complete the required information and save.

  1. When adding users to your team, you'll need the following info:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
  2. Select the Team Role this user it to be part of.
  3. (Optional) Pick a date if you want the user to expire.
    • User Expiration Date automatically remove users from your team after a certain date.
  4. Once the user has been added to your WatchGameFilm team, they will receive a WatchGameFilm email invitation containing their login credentials.

Upload Users

To add multiple users to your WatchGameFilm team at once, you can select the Upload Users option from the Users toolbar.

The Upload Users feature allows you to import users into your WatchGameFilm team by uploading an Excel spreadsheet of your roster. You can generate an Excel template by clicking the Download Template button on your toolbar.

Properly create your spreadsheet then select it in the Upload Users dialog. WatchGameFilm will analyze your spreadsheet before importing the users into your team.

Edit User

Administrators and Coaches are allowed to change the Team Role of a user as well as their Expiration Date when editing a user. They are unable to change the Email Address or User Name however. This is due to the fact that email address and user name belong to the user and not the team. The same user may be part of many WatchGameFilm teams and thus we do not allow the team to have control over these user properties. If a user needs to change their email address, name or password, they can do so by logging into WatchGameFilm and navigating to User Profile under Settings.

Deleting User(s)

Team staff can also remove a single user or remove all users from the team. To remove a single user, select the user and press the Remove User button from the toolbar.

To remove all users on your team, press the Remove All Users button on the toolbar.

This action will remove all users from the team except for themself and the Team Owner.

Resend Invite

When you add a user to your WatchGameFilm team, an email invitation is automatically sent to the user with their login credentials. If the user deleted the email or it went to their junk folder, you can resend the invitation by selecting Resend Invite from the toolbar.

You can also tell your user to open WatchGameFilm, enter their email address in the login window and press the Resend button if they have forgotten their password. Their WatchGameFilm password will then be sent to them, allowing them to log into the team.
