Stream Key

Any practice, game or event can be live streamed to your team as a Private or Public stream. Included in your team's subscription is the ability to livestream video either directly to your team privately or publicly to WatchGameFilm.TV.

Every WatchGameFilm team includes a private Stream Key that can be used to stream video to your team. To successfully stream video, our streaming server requires your Stream Key and an RTMP stream.

Navigate to Settings > Stream Key to view your Stream Key as well as the RTMP URL options when recording video.

The location that you use in your RTMP URL rtmp://stream.watchgamefilm.com/[location] determines where your video will go once the stream has ended.

• live - Public stream that can be viewed live on WatchGameFilm.TV
• game, practice, scout, training, other - Private stream that is not visible on WatchGameFilm.TV
• 10 minutes after your stream has ended, it is automatically posted to your Film Library as a single clip film, titled Private Stream or Live Stream based on the location in your URL
• Note that RTMP URLs and Stream Keys are case sensitive
• Do not give our your Stream Key to other teams or users as it is specific to your team and all video recorded using that Key will be sent to your team

Additional items to keep in mind:

• Both Private and Public streams automatically work with Sideline Replay
• We highly recommend using Live Now for streaming if you are recording with iPhone, iPad & Android tablets
• You can stream with any device that supports RTMP, including some high-end camcorders as well as cameras such as GoPro and XBotGo
